Our tour also includes a visit to Fira, the vibrant capital of Santorini. Strolling through its narrow, whitewashed streets, you’ll find a mix of traditional Cycladic charm and lively local culture. Fira offers stunning views over the caldera, with plenty of spots to take incredible photos. Along the way, you’ll pass quaint cafes, boutique shops, and art galleries, giving you time to soak in the unique atmosphere. Pyrgos Village - Monastery of Profitis Ilias

The ancient monastic complex of Prophet Elias on Mountthodoxy is a sight to behold. It has been magnificently preserved over time. You can clearly see how it played an important role during Greece’s Christian Orthodox Revolution by offering refuge for ships fleeing from their Turkish invaders and helping with food supplies when needed! A small part about this intriguing history remains intact, but your reward will be greater than anything else if only take the opportunity to climb up there yourself!

Red Beach, Akrotiri, Lighthouse Santorini

This small, red beach is arguably one of the most famous and beautiful beaches on Santorini. It’s located just some steps away from Akrotiri ancient site with its red volcanic rocks jutting up into the sky like sentinels. They look like they are defending this land against enemies long ago. They are positioned so strategically that no other coastlines could touch them without being destroyed first. There would be nothing left for invaders to take home after their attack (except perhaps some fiery remains).

Black Sand Beach, Santorini

The black beach is a breathtaking sight to see. The texture of the sand is super unique, you also get to experience enormous rock called Mesa Vouno that rises out of the sea!
